UTD Prepares for Eclipse

There’s a lot of excitement on campus in anticipation of a rare total solar eclipse passing over UTD. Don’t miss it, on April 8th between 12:23 p.m. and 3:03 p.m., with the peak of the eclipse at 1:43 p.m.. UT Dallas will have viewing sites with shielded telescopes and safety glasses for viewing will be distributed at various sites on campus, including the library lobby prior to the eclipse.

Library staff will begin handing out glasses at 10:00 a.m., however, since we have a limited number of glasses each person will receive one pair and must present their physical Comet Card to receive them.
