Your Opinion Counts! Library Services, Resources, & Spaces Survey

The survey is now open, and we want to hear from YOU!

About the Survey
Facilitated by the Association of Research Libraries, LibQUAL+ is an optional, confidential online survey that is widely used by libraries to track, understand, and act
upon users’ opinions of service quality. The survey instrument measures library users’ minimum, perceived, and desired levels of service quality across three dimensions: Affect of Service, Information Control, and Library as Place.

From April 7th through April 27th, the Eugene McDermott Library asks all UT Dallas students (18+) and faculty to consider participating in LibQUAL+ Lite. This abbreviated version includes nine Likert scale questions, a handful of items to quickly determine your usage patterns, and a free text box if you would like to share additional feedback.

Why Participate?
This survey gives your library a broad set of data to use when refining services and enhancing study environments, now and in years to come. Sharing about five minutes of your time will help us learn more about you, shape our best practices, measure the effectiveness of our response to previous surveys, and optimize academic support for future Comets!

Participants who complete the survey and enter their UT Dallas email address (optional) will be entered into a random drawing to win one of six Kobo Clara Colour e-readers. A prize is not guaranteed; winners are selected from an email list, separate from response data.

Please send inquiries to Matt Young at LibQUAL@utdallas.edu.
