‘70s daydream
Softly lit by construction
Shone bright with comets.

Reasons the judges selected the winner:

• First line is a subtle reference to the library’s origins (opened in 1975).
• Second line may be read as a nod to the new SU being built next door or to the maintenance continually in progress in the library.
• The third line encapsulates UTD pride.
