Poisonous Plants and Haunted Archives

While we don’t have ghosts at McDermott, we’ll have treats! And you can enjoy our Poisonous & Dangerous Plants exhibit, featuring images from herbals in our Louise B. Belsterling Collection in the Nebula Gallery for the month of October. Make sure you visit us again later this month to celebrate National Archives Month.

Poisonous and Dangerous Plants

The witching season is almost upon us, and the Special Collections & Archives Division has prepared some spooky images from the Louise B. Belsterling Botanical Collection to entice and frighten you.

Exhibition Dates: October 3 – November 2, 2022
Location: Nebula Gallery, Eugene McDermott Library, MC 3.504

Haunted Archives

What could be more frightening than losing all of your history? In honor of National Archives Month, the Special Collections and Archives Division invites students to ask our archivists any questions they have about preserving their photos, documents, family history, digital files, etc. We’ll even get your started with archival quality folders, paper, and a guide.

Thursday, October 27th from 1:00 p.m. to 3 p.m.
Eugene McDermott Library, MC 3.504
